Born in Los
Angeles to a musical family and raised in D.C., Kevin started playing
music at age 6 as a marching drummer in parades and festivals. Next
up were experiences in Trumpet, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Acoustic
Guitar, and finally Voice. From 1992 to 1997, he was the Bassist
/ Backup Vocalist in SUNDOGS who found modern rock radio success
with their release Wild Season (Foundation) produced by Leif Mases
(LedZeppelin, The Firm), scoring minor hits in markets such as Myrtle
Beach, SC, Binghamton, NY , Bay City, MI and Ft. Wayne, IN.
In 2000, Kevin and long-time musical co-conspirator Keith Frey released
SONIC
SUNDAY (Eminence) to the internet and are selling copies of
that effort presently.
Continuing to hone his skills as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist,
Kevin has released his latest offering, AQUANNETTE (KGK Music) to
the internet. Now on it's third repressing, this CD is still selling
fairly well. Using songwriting as therapy, new ideas just keep flowing.
For a songwriter that can't be a bad thing...
